Job Purpose
    To Plan, manage, operate and optimize the Group’s IP Core Network together with the Network Core team, maximizing efficiency and resiliency, to achieve the expected Service Levels.
Requirements
  • Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Telecom Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical or Electronics Engineering, or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 2-3 years’ experience in IP Network Planning/Operations/Solution designing in multivendor environment. The candidate must have good knowledge of end-to-end IP network architecture. Hands on experience of IP Core network, its related technologies and architecture and broadband service flows with all the components involved in IP domain and integrations with multiple other systems.
  • Professional level certifications or equivalent in Juniper or Cisco.
  • Experienced with BGP and interconnectivity with other carriers and Internet exchanges.
  • Able to travel Regionally if needed.
  • A trustworthy, passionate team player with a positive attitude when working in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
  • Work with various teams to understand network architecture standards, user base, product and service offering, performance constraints and growth requirements in PPTEL’s Core network.
  • Facilitate design and develop the IP Core network and services for upgrade, and expansion within Network team and externally
  • Develop a Network Strategy to Actively optimize the IP Core for costs, efficiency, and resiliency.
  • Plan for network changes to accommodate growth in Core IP/MPLS network services and increase network resiliency.
  • Devise strategies on hardware and network acquisitions.
  • Oversee and drive network design plans to be implemented in the core IP network.
  • Hardware inventory management of IP/MPLS network and RFP preparation for new hardware procurement.
  • Project preparation and technical evaluation of vendor core products and solutions.
  • Manage a team to ensure service levels agreements are met

Job Purpose
    Maintains and operates Data centre facilities, such as high and low voltage power systems, HVAC, controls, and cabling. Ensures uninterrupted service of Tier-IV data centre within local norms, regulations, HSE guidelines, following the Uptime Institute Data Centre Site Infrastructure and Tier Standard: Topology, Telecommunications Infrastructure Standard for Data Centres: TIA-942.
Requirements
  • Candidate must possess Diploma or Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial engineering.
  • Having a Chargeman L1 or L3 competency is an added advantage.
  • At least 2 years of working experience in manufacturing or data centre facilities environment or in a similar role, in particular experience in maintenance of HVAC and high/low voltage power systems.
  • Experience with AutoCAD, ability to read and prepare project documentation, diagrams, and schemes.
  • Knowledge of the building process and construction principles.
  • Knowledge of relevant regulations and building codes.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Main Responsibilities
  • Follows local norms and regulations in terms of power/cooling systems operations and maintenance.
  • Performs routine maintenance tasks as per the company’s SOP/MOP related to data centre facilities.
  • Troubleshoots and resolves issues related to data centre facilities within defined SLA.
  • Interacts with contractors for data centre facility-related systems for maintenance/troubleshooting purposes.
  • Interacts with state authorities’ representatives concerning the compliance of the facilities to local norms and requirements.
  • Performs colocation-related activities, such as power connection/disconnection for new/existing customers.
  • Ensures daily that power and cooling capacities are well balanced within Data Halls and reports immediately whenever disbalance is found or foreseen.
  • To take the responsibility as a fire warden and be involved in the safety committee to comply with the Department of Safety and Health (DOSH) requirement.

Job Purpose
    The Contract Manager will oversee and manage the vendors/suppliers/partners in a manner that maximises value for the company, operates in close collaboration with sales and delivery teams and be recognized as a trusted advisor throughout the entire contract lifecycle including pre-award, contract delivery and closeout.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in a Technical, Business or a related field from a reputable University is required.
  • At least 8 to 10 years of working experience, with 5 years as a contract manager or similar role in a telecom’s environment would be essential.
  • Previous experience working with contract regulations and understanding terminology, standards and prevailing laws is strongly preferred.
  • Familiar with standard terms and conditions in a telecoms contract.
  • Must have strong computer skills and knowledge of common programs such as Microsoft Office.
  • Have strong attention to details, excellent written and oral communication skills and possess good analytical skills.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects with shifting deadlines.
  • Comfortable working as part of a multidimensional team.
  • Willing to be based in Kuching, Sarawak.
Main Responsibilities
  • Complete Lifecycle management of contracts from pre bidding to contract closure phase and maintain an audit trail of all contract negotiations, including highlighting agreed risks and liabilities with the vendors/suppliers/partners.
  • Drafting, revising, editing, and executing of all contract and contracts amendments aligned to business requirement.
  • Acts as the primary contact between the potential vendors/suppliers/partners, project team and/or business unit, regulatory and legal, ensuring that all legal and contractual matters are addressed efficiently and promptly.
  • Communicate and present information to stakeholders about all contract-related matters.
  • Provide advice and guidance to the different teams relating to contract generation.
  • Initiate and lead peer review of RFPs or RFQs.
  • Provide support and advice on new potential businesses opportunities.
  • Identify opportunities to improve business processes and devise plans to implement these changes.

Job Purpose
    To administers company's hardware, software and applications running either on-prem or in the Cloud. Plays a crucial role in IT landscape design, operations and ensuring the company's IT Systems are operational, up-to-date, and well protected from vulnerabilities. Supports Company’s users with requests, issues and inquiries related to Company’s IT Systems.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or equivalent, with at least 2 years of relevant experience in related field.
  • Problem-solving skills – To identify, evaluate, and implement workable solutions to complex problems.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Experience with Azure AD, Azure Exchange is an advantage.
  • Ability to read and prepare project documentation, network diagrams.
  • Knowledge of the IP networking, TCP/IP, HTTP, Rest API protocols.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Able to start work immediately.
Main Responsibilities
  • Understanding and translating business requirements into systems configurations.
  • Administering Server equipment in terms of hardware maintenance, firmware updates/upgrades, configuration.
  • Administering System Software such as, but not limited to: Microsoft Active Directory/Azure AD, Exchange/Online Exchange, DHCP/DNS, Sharepoint, Windows Server installations.
  • Preparing High-Level Design (HLD) and Low-Level Design (LLD) for any internal projects related to IT infrastructure.
  • Checking HLD, LLD, technical designs and networking schemes prepared by the contractors, to ensure that they are followed correctly during IT projects implementation.
  • Liaises with contractors and other professional staff during IT projects implementation and 3rd party integration.
  • Provides technical advice and solving problems related to IT infrastructure within the Company.
  • Performs proactive/reactive maintenance/updates/upgrades or IT service change as per Company’s Change Management Policy.
  • Troubleshoots and resolves Company users IT-related issues ensuring proper service request queue management.
  • Troubleshoots and restores IT services as per Company’s Incident Management Policy.
  • Contributes to budget (CAPEX/OPEX) planning process in terms of SW/HW/licensing forecasting.

Job Purpose
    Responsible in ensuring timely delivery of survey results and construction readiness of the telecom sites as per company's development plan in compliance to the local regulatory standards related to Civil works and engineering principles. Performs site survey as per inputs from network planning experts to select best site candidates for network rollout and achieving targets set by line manager within guidelines established by the COO.
Requirements
  • Candidate must possess at least a Diploma/Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
  • At least 6 month working experience in the construction field.
  • Experience with AutoCAD is an added advantage.
  • Knowledge of the building process and construction principles.

  • Liaising with contractors and other professional staff and the project manager.
  • Prepares site drawings and submits necessary documentation to state authorities to get site acquired and permits to build obtained.

  • Preparing site reports and filling in other paperwork.
  • Submitting documents to obtain permit to build.

Job Purpose
    To support the Finance & Accounts Department in daily account transaction and operations.
Requirements
  • Possess at least a Diploma or Degree in Accountancy or equivalent.
  • At least 2 years of working experience in the related field, and candidates with experience in accounting firm will be given priority.
  • Proficient in programs including PowerPoint, MS Office, Excel and SQL accounting software is an added advantage.
  • Possess excellent communication and written skills in English. Other language is a plus.

Main Responsibilities
  • To create a detailed business plans to facilitate the attainment of goals and quotas.
